Capturing the moments that matter the most – Boxcar Photography La Crosse WI
Being the face of Boxcar Photography, La Crosse WI I see a few bars here and there. For this wedding we took a trip to Dels Bar downtown La Crosse. Many moments of photography in La Crosse WI will show pictures of third street. Shooting back home you see a lot of this, it seems that the area loves its drinking, and many are drawn to it for that very reason. The reason why I love this shot so much is simply the moment. You have the moment of the groomsman getting his tie fixed, but also the moment of his reaction to his drink getting spilled along with the trail coming off. This is the exact reason you must always be ready for anything as a Wedding photographer, and ready to shoot different light values and color temps, for instance there was a window behind me with daylight kelvin temperatures, and indoor incandescent lighting in front of me. Choosing how I want to shoot was tricky, bouncing flash of of the brown ceiling could potentially give a color cast. In the end the image just looked better in Black and White because the colors didn’t really add anything to the photo.
