Outstanding Natural Beauty for Weddings at Burlap and Bells, Black River Falls WI.
Weddings at Burlap and Bells are charmingly chic nestled in outstanding natural beauty. Located in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, Burlap and Bells are a majestic all in one wedding venue sure to provide the happy couple, and their family and friends, with a unforgettable wedding experience.
A natural wonderland, this family owned and operated location offers multiple locations to host the various events of the day. I just love the beautifully maintained paths and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature as they move from your ceremony to the cocktail hour, and on the reception. This natural tone of the day blends well with my documentary and formal portrait photography style.
Sometimes at an outdoor venue, a couple feels like all the various areas “look the same”: lots of green, and trees, and more trees. The really cool thing about Burlap and Belles is the variety in their locations, which are each unique and provide a different experience for the couple and their guests.
The Vine Chapel hosts intimate weddings with wooden bench seating and hallmarked by the hops vines which hang in beautiful cones from an archway creating a unique look and aroma. The Tree Grove that hosts larger weddings boasts soaring Norway pines which make for dramatic, almost cinematic, images down the aisle and at the altar. These are not your standard Wisconsin pines, these trees have been here for centuries!
Love makes you feel like you’re on top of the world: so why not get married there? The Cliff Top ceremony location overlooks miles and miles of countryside. Standing under the wrought iron arch, framed on one side by a shale stone cliff and a stunning vista on the other, your wedding photos will capture your “I do” in the most organically gorgeous and impressive fashion.
Nestled in the woods is the cocktail area lit up by overhead bistro lights. This area is perfect for cocktail hours, yard games, mingling, and intimate special dances. Dinner can be hosted in the covered pavilion which provides seating for 150 on hand-curated, mismatched antique wood chairs that surround 20 wooden plank tables. Here, the moon is your disco ball, aided by dozens of strands of bistro lights which zig-zag between trees hundreds of years old creating a natural dancefloor. Guests can wander through the gorgeous white curtains that hanging in each opening, enjoying the simple, easy, elegant, and natural beauty of your reception.
Whether you are looking for a small intimate wedding, an elopement, or a hosting a large gathering of your friends and family to celebrate your wedding, every image Boxcar Photography captures at Burlap and Belle’s has proven to be a wedding-worthy panorama. If you’re a lover of nature, this venue is a must-see and a must-consider.
