Onalaska Photography
At this wedding I may have seen it all, anything from suspenders over the tux, to the groom Moon-ing some people at the reception. Either way it was a blast shooting these two all day. There were not many dull moments. The wedding itself was in Houston Minnesota close by the bride’s parents home. The drive was a solid hour there and back down twisty roads alongside both the river and the bluffs. The way getting there was just as beautiful as the wedding itself. Once arrived the girls were sipping on memosas while getting their hair and makeup done. Once ready the bride slipped into her dress at her parents’ house. Her sister was so nice as to help her get into her dress. I thought it was so funny that Father of the Bride was on TBN when we showed up. After that was done I made my way to the church to seea where the guys were as far as getting ready. When I arrived we found it very funny that the guy’s suspenders were ordered too large. This brought us to the hillary’s moment of the groomsmen having to staple the extra straps two their suspenders. As we made our way into the ceremony we had some great access to the back rooms with a very flexible minister. I am so glad that they let me go behind the altar of to get some photos of the bride and groom’s faces during the ceremony. We then made our way all the way back to Onalaska WI to Stoney Creek Hotel for the reception. On their way there the bridal party stopped at a few Legions to have a few drinks with friends. After reaching the reception we ended the night of Onalaska photography with a fun group of people in the downstairs foyer of Stoney Creek.
