New Zealand Wedding Photographer
Chap? Mate? Beaut? These are all words I had to get use to while shooting with the well known Jim Pollard. His work his amazing, his style is so very specific. Meeting the man behind the camera was more than beneficial. I cannot wait to go back to meet this guy, hopefully for brekkie at Joes Garage. This guy use to actually live in CO where he met his wife. Since then moved back to NZ to be a family man and an outstanding photographer that is truely making a splash in the photography world. He is now getting a ton of recognition for his photos with high peaks and low valleys along the Queenstown, NZ area. This New Zealand wedding photographer often hops on helicopters to take photos in crazy places. I had such an amazing time working with him in New Zealand, traveling around and hearing about his love for his family. Since then we have been able to stay in touch with each other through Facebook. I don’t know if it his hold fast leather camera straps or his leather tie that makes him the most artistic, but what I do know is he’s got a good thing going so he shouldn’t change it! Its so hilariously funny when we wanted to get all the wine and beer out of some of the shots for the bride and groom and he took them so they didnt have to put them down on uneven ground. It made for quite the comical photo as he has been known to balance things very well. Lively, subtle and fresh would be words I describe Jim. He speaks a mean Kiwi, which initially was hard to understand. I had to chuckle as I was not sure of the things he was saying until he explained them to me. It was a blast working with Jim and please look at his site below!
