It seems that there are three very prevalent things in my blogs. First off its apparent that I shoot weddings in the La Crosse, WI area, second that as a La Crosse Wisconsin wedding photographer I shoot often at Pettibone resort. And finally I love to use mirrors. THis shot was of the bride getting ready, I of course posed this shot to get it, but it was inspired when I saw the two mirrors and wondered if I could get everyone in the shot at the same time. Thankfully we were able to, however you would be surprised how hard it is to get everyone with their angles right, because they are not looking where they would think, but where the camera sees them. So in fact the bride was looking at the upper part of the wall in front of her and the bridesmaids at the floor. It was a fun little time getting everyone in the right position, however we made it work in a room that couldn’t have been larger than 7×10. As a photographer you must maximize the space you’re given, and this is a perfect example of this. Enjoy!
