The 3,000 square foot Greenhouse is an industrial canvas of abundant of natural light complementing the steel that crisscrosses the ceiling. The wood accents and wine barrels around the room where dinner is served family-style make the space feel intimate and cozy. In the evening, guests gather under the enchanted, warm glow of Edison lights. Even more perfect is that the room is temperature-controlled, which means your guests can enjoy the coolest reception place in La Crosse even on the hottest of summer nights. Sophisticated and stylishly accented with plush, vintage couches and armchairs which are perfect for staging creative images among the fields of flowers, or with the barn as your backdrop. They also double as comfortable seats for friends and family to relax in as festivities begin.

By far, my favorite spot to capture a couple is to the adjacent marsh. Visually stunning any time of day, it’s absolutely cinematic when the sky lights up during sunset. Along the greenspaces are stone walls and touches are architecture mixed with lush greens creating a naturally beautiful and interesting space where capturing both candid and formal portraiture is both effortless and endless. What I appreciate about a wedding at The Greenhouse at Bittersweet is the sense of calm enveloped in natural grandeur where couples can hold their ceremony and reception in one gorgeous location.
