Marshfield Wedding Photographer
A beautiful sunny day at the end of April saw a wedding in Marshfield, Wisconsin at the Hockey and Skate rink. Lots of family and friends gathered to see this couple on their special day filled with drinks, dancing, and a lot of fun photos. As Hockey is an important part of this couples lives, hosting their wedding at the Hockey rink was a perfect venue. It even had the added bonus of being right next to the World’s Largest Round Barn, which created a whole different opportunity for some different and unique photos on their wedding day. A whole Hockey theme was consistent throughout the day from the balloons and decorations, to the hockey pucks that all of the kids were playing around with. With everyone and their dog—literally—there it was a plenty of laughter and celebration. The couple had their dog, Pody, a beautiful Golden-Doodle with them to help make their day of unity complete. The best part was that Pody would follow them around all day, even lying next to them for their first dance. Everything was very intimate and family oriented, which was a joy to get to work with. Even their sign-in for guests was unique as they opted to take an old bench, paint it, and have guests sign and leave personal messages on something that they can use in their home every day. As I am based out of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, out of my immediate area always ask what my travel fees are; within the state of Wisconsin I do not charge a travel fee.
