Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

This wedding took place in Minneapolis, MN.  About 3 times a year I get call myself a Minneapolis Wedding Photographer.  It is also one of the closer places to shoot and fly out of is Minneapolis as it is only a 2.5 hour drive away from my house.  I love bigger cities, there is just something about urbanscapes!  This was a shot I got downtown Minneapolis at the Hotel while they were getting ready.  Personally I love framing, I shot through a mirror on the wall to frame the groom as he looked out the window.  You really cant go wrong when window light falls so gently against bride and grooms, I can only recommend sitting close to a window, facing it to all my couples.  We continued on to the International Market Square in Minneapolis.  Their address is 275 Market St, Minneapolis, MN 55405.  I loved the venue as it had a lot of open light during the day and a ton of space to work with.  I will say however once the sun fell, it was like shooting in a black hole so I had to light it myself with strobes.  This was huge…there are so many photographers that say that they shoot all ambient light, and dont get me wrong, if you like what they deliver, by all means hire them, however I chose a long time ago that I would be a person who knows how to use strobes effectively with the lights that are provided.
