Navy officer wedding
My first Navy Officer Wedding! How exciting to be able to capture something that is engrained into who the people are! This couple came all the way from Virginia to get married back where they grew up in Milwaukee, WI. The day started at her family home. The house was an amazing and intimate backdrop for their photos. The home was remodeled so extensively through the years you could tell it had a lot of history for the family. To tie things in even more, the brother prepared the brides makeup. The bride was so gorgeous. Carrying herself so well down the isle, you could really tell that she use to do pageants previously. The couple had wedding planner, Elizabeth, from Evenement on their schedule the whole day. Shout out to her! The ceremony was full catholic mass at the Basilica of St Josephat. Their ceremony included a symbolic decorative chain that symbolized the unity of their marriage. Their family members placed this decorative chain on the couple. At the end of the ceremony the couple had a sword ceremony where the father of the groom gave the final right of passage. After visiting a few different places in the Milwaukee area we moved our way down to Pfister where we ended the night.
