Remarkables New Zealand

 Remarkables New Zealand

The Remarkables New Zealand were some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen.  I have learned over my many years that having a home base is a necessity.  There always needs to be a place where everyone calls home.  However I am a avid traveler and pro travel as often as you can.  In reality it really comes down to making it happen.  Some leaps may have you falling flat on your face, others you land on the ground running.  I feel as if every trip I make has had a remarkable turning point on my life.  I have struggled a lot in the past with a lot of things.  One thing that holds true is the fact that trying to lose yourself is sometimes the best way to find out who you are.  There are so many cultural norms that we grow up with day in and day out.  I have been blessed to see Japan, New Zealand, Austrailia, Sweden and many others in the last two years alone that has opened my eyes to different cultures and ways of life.  Within each culture I find people that dont question their beliefs, their norms or behaviors. They just follow.  This brings me to a movie quote I recently watched from American Sniper.  Please set aside any feelings you have (pro or con) for the movie and hear me out.  There are people in the world that just follow, they don’t question, they just act in accordance to what is asked of them.  There are also people who try to push attitudes and ways of life on others.  Those people are like the bullies in life.  Always a soap stand to stand on.  And there are those who will stand their ground.  Accept the people for who they are and make a lasting change between the two lives.  Finding myself has been an amazing and epic journey the last few years.  I have founded a ton of things in my life that I never thought I would have.  I never thought I would ever question my own beliefs to find myself in the end strengthening them and having more passion.  Yet I also have found myself with more of an appreciation for other religions, cultures and norms.  I love every walk of life and through that, love myself.  This trip was amazing to say the least, seeing the Remarkables, taking notes along a bench on the side of a cliff.  All important things to have when looking forward to traveling on the next trip.
